Asus launched ZenPad Z8 tablet at $249.99 in U.S.

Asus and Verizon have introduced the ZenPad Z8 tablet in the US on June 2016. The price of this tablet is $249.99 (approximately Rs. 16,800) without convention. The new Asus ZenPad Z8 is now available for pre-order through Verizon Wireless online and is scheduled to start shipping from June 23. It will be also available with a two-year contract at $149.99 (approximately Rs. 10,000).

The Asus ZenPad Z8 features a 7.9-inch IPS display and comes with a 2K (2048×1536 pixels) screen resolution. Asus says that the display on the ZenPad Z8 will offer a 178-degree viewing angle.

The tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. It runsAndroid 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based ZenUI features dual front-facing stereo speakers offering DTS-HD sound. It will come with 16GB of inbuilt storage and will offer expandable storage through microSD card (up to 128GB). The tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and also houses a 2-megapixel front camera.

The Asus ZenPad Z8 is backed by a 4680mAh battery and comes with 4G connectivity option with SIM. Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Glonass, and the tablet comes with USB Type-C port are the other connectivity options included in tablet.
