LONDON: on Monday, David Cameron, former Prime Minister of Britain has resigned from sit in the House of Commons, he said to ITV broadcaster in an interview.
In June, he left his position as prime minister, few hours after Britain voted to separate from European Union in a referendum; he has campaigned not to leave the union.
Cameron told to broadcaster that, in a recent politics in situation of my resignation it’s not promising to be a proper backbench MP as a former prime minister.”
Cameron said, “He thought what you do will bring a disruption and a big distraction from what government wants to do for country.”
Cameron resignation is informally quick and he keeps his seat for numbers of years after leaving the official Downing Street residence.
