Huawei has been in talks due to its launch of Huawei P10 Plus in MWC 2017. It also launched its Huawei Honor Magic in Europe after 3 months of its official launch. We guess this was not enough and that is the reason as to why the company has launched a new smartphone. The company has rolled out its Huawei Honor 8 Pro in India. The new Huawei Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch full HD display and a pixel ratio of 1440 x 2560. The phone runs on Android 7.0 nougat. It also has a 73.6% screen-to-body ratio along with a pixel density of 515 ppi. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor with a GPU of Mali-G71 MP8 along with 4 GB/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB internal memory. This memory can be further expanded to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving towards the connectivity part, the new Huawei Honor 8 Pro features dual SIM functionality, 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone is available in 2 different versions—gold and blue.
Speaking of the imaging duties, the new Huawei Honor 8 Pro has 12 MP + 12 MP of dual rear cameras along with f/2.2 aperture with LED flash, and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is of 8 MP with f/2.0 aperture and is enough for good selfies. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery that is capable of giving 30 hours of talk time and 367 hours of standby time along with 90 hours of music play time.
The company has given a price tag of Rs 38,900 to the new Huawei Honor 8 Pro. Well, seeing the specs of the smartphone, the price seems to be completely reasonable. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of ROM along with dual 12 MP cameras will boost the sale of the smartphone. The main rival to the new Huawei Honor 8 Pro will be the well-known OnePlus 3T that has almost the same specs.
