Sony launches Bravia X Series Smart TVs

Sony, the Japanese electronics manufacturer has rolled out its new Smart TVs below the Bravia X range of TVs. The firm has rolled out 10 TVs in the range with an initial price tag of Rs 87,900. All the TVs are obtainable at various electronics stores as well as Sony centers in the country.

All the TVs are fueled by 4K HDR X1 Extreme Processor. The flagship X9300E and X9500E, which have a price tag of Rs 2,64,900 and Rs 3,64,900 in that order, come with a thin Backlight Drive+, which is an advanced technology in the LED Backlight section, that to guarantees enhanced brightness. Apart from all this, the TVs also come with a slim Magnetic Fluid front facing speakers for an enhanced experience of audio. The TV sports an X-tended Dynamic Range PRO local dimming, as well as quad-edge, LED structure along with boosting technology, which improves the contrast and brightness details.

All the Smart TVs operate on Android’s latest 7.0 Nougat OS and provides direct authorization for Netflix, Google Play, and YouTube. The TVs also has a Content Bar user interface, smartphone plug and play choice, 4K X-Reality PRO, Android TV, TRILUMINOS Display for improved color accurateness, and much more. Furthermore, all the TVs support Bluetooth connectivity and are HDR compatible along with support for A2DP.

Sony lately rolled out 2 new Professional G-Series Solid State Drives (SSD), sporting storage capacities of 480 GB and 960 GB. These are intended for external video recording gadgets attached to high-performance DSLRs or camcorders.

Employing the Error Correction Code technology of the company, the G Series 460 GB SSD gains up to 1,200 terabytes written; on the other hand, the 960 GB drive can gain 2,400 TBW, ensuring in fewer regular replacement.

As per the company, 2,400 terabytes written translates to about 1 decade of use for the SV-GS96, on an average of five times per week if data is fully written to the drive.
