Flipkart’s former COO, Nitin Seth, has supplied a lawful notice to the online shopping company over the method he was fired from the firm. This data was provided by sources that have a deep knowledge of this matter and are directly aware of the development. Seth started working with Flipkart in 2016 as the Head of HR (Chief People Officer). Earlier, he used to work as Country Head for Fidelity International.
Seth was later promoted as the COO, turning out to be the second most well-known executive at the company post Kalyan Krishnamurthy was appointed as the CEO. Besides leading the HR operation, he was also leading Ekart, the logistics unit of Flipkart, and corporate operations such as strategy in the company.
When a contact was made by the media, a Flipkart spokesperson and Seth refused to comment on the subject. As a matter of surprise, Seth was suddenly asked to resign in May. His promotion at Flipkart had concerned many when in no time he turned out to be one of the top managers at the company. He could not ethnically fit into the organization, which is one of the factors that resulted to his resignation, said a source that has a deep knowledge of this matter and did want to be unnamed.
Sources claimed that Seth has confronted his dismissal from Flipkart as he believes the decision was against the law. “We have to view how sturdy the case is for him in opposition to Flipkart as it has to be seen from various legal point of views,” a source that has a deep knowledge of this matter said.
Sources claimed that Seth’s decagons might lead in a long lawful battle even as Flipkart is hunting to employ Senior Executives at key positions. The new funds have provided enough bullets to the home-grown retailer to battle out some aggressive plans and moves by Amazon.
